Hey all!
This email will be a bit shorter cause we only have p-day till 12 today with the weird Christmas schedule this week! I'm excited for Christmas though and being able to skype the fam.
So a little update with Dan, we got a call from him during the week and said he read something that shook his faith in the Church and essentially doesn't believe in it and is giving up on the Word of Wisdom. But then he texted us saying he would come to sacrament meeting still. Then he didn't. So he has essentially dropped us, very sad but people have their agency and we left him with a good taste in his mouth!
It's been super good with Elder Scott meeting investigators and members cause he was a big gamer and tons of people we meet with are big gamers so he connects with them over that and I end up just standing there while everything goes over my head. It's good though!
We contacted a guy with a scary face tattoo named Martin and he ended up watching the Christmas video and accepting a Book of Mormon and is down to meet sometime, that was awesome!
We had a great lesson with Fei with a member present so they spoke lots of Chinese to eachother in front of us (probably about us). We met at a cafe and talked over some hot chocolate and she's a really awesome candidate for baptism but she left for China for a month yesterday so we'll see when she gets back!
Elder Scott and I have both been trying to get over colds this week but we're pretty much better now, he's been a trooper about it! We had an amazing Christmas conference on friday in Göteborg and it was super fun. We talked a lot about the Christ like attributes of humility, obedience, charity and faith. We also did a white elephant, I got a Lord of the Rings board game, score!
We went back out to Påarp and met with Tommy and he's doing well! Emma hasn't been home the last couple times we've gone by but her parents always answer, oh well we'll keep trying!
I've been studying Moroni 7:45 this week and trying to focus on showing love in word and deed to everyone I meet, it not only lifts others around you but it does so much for myself personally too! Having charity will always make us happier, that's how it works. Charity never faileth!

(While we (Tenny's family) was in India for 2 weeks, we got to Skype with Tenny on Christmas for an hour! It was crazy wonderful! He sent this brief email the next day.
Hey we didn't have time to email today but Christmas was great as well as skyping y'all, our next p-day will be next friday so I'll catch up on everything then! Love you and have fun in India!
